18650 Battery Guide

Choosing Your Battery

What is mAh?

  • Battery capacity is measured in milliamps (mAh). mAh stands for milli-ampere-hours, which is a measurement of the amount of energy the battery can store. The higher this number is, the more energy it can store. More energy means longer use-time in between charges. This has nothing to do with the output voltage. Higher mAh also means it will take longer to charge and it usually also means that the battery will be larger and last longer.  A simple, averaged way to think about mAh is 150 mAh = 1 hour vaping. This is just a general guideline, as the amount of vaping time you get out of your battery will vary based on your style of vaping and the type of clearomiser one is using and also the voltage setting the device is set at.

Using Your Battery

Keep batteries in ‘married pairs’

  • If your mod uses more than 1 battery, it’s best to charge and use the batteries together. TIP: Use a marker to write something like A1/A2 on your batteries so that you don’t forget which ones are ‘married’.

What is the best way to charge my batteries?

  •  If your mod has an onboard mini-USB charging socket, use that. If not, you can purchase an external charger here.

How long will it take for my battery to charge?

  • Depending on how many batteries your mod uses, it will take between 3 - 6 hours for you batteries to charge. You can charge batteries quicker by using an external charger or by using a USB wall adaptor.
